LandRoller has an aggressive domestic marketing support program to develop consumer awareness and drive foot traffic to our retail partners' stores.

Our retailer support program includes a full spectrum of consumer-driven tactics. LandRoller is creating imaginative online viral campaigns. The company is enhancing traditional brand awareness through sophisticated public relations. We are training and educating retail sales staff at participating sporting goods retailers and skate shops.

Following are highlights of the LandRoller domestic support program for sporting goods retailers and skate shops:


Premium Brand Skates and Price Points

  • LandRoller's novelty, premium brand, healthy margins, and high "turnover" rate enable retailers to realize higher contributions per square foot -- certainly far higher than traditional inline skates.

Consumer Awareness

  • Heavy national and grass roots promotion of the LandRoller product make LandRoller a true partner with its retailers. Portions of the promotional budget will be used in conjunction with retailer partners to drive traffic and sales.

LandRoller Champions in the Skate Shop

  • We are providing one (1) free pair of skates per retail outlet for a "LandRoller Champion," someone who skates frequently, and can converse with the customer from a position of experience and knowledge.

Skates Video and Tutorial Support

  • All retail outlets receive a professionally produced DVD and booklet demonstrating LandRoller's superior features, along with answers to FAQ's (frequently asked questions).

Point of Purchase Options

Product Lines

LandRoller currently offers three skate models; the Terra 9 Men’s skate, the Terra 9 Women’s skate and the Apolo Anton Ohno Limited Edition skate. Customers can also order from the company the Easy Grip and Shoulder Strap carrying systems. In mid summer of 2007, LandRoller will be offering its newest model skate with all new engineered plastic wheel hubs, replaceable bearings and a lightweight frame. In upcoming months, LandRoller will augment its offerings with an array of additional products and gear (apparel and merchandise, protective gear, accessories and replacement parts). Roller skate shops, online inline skate shops, inline speed skate shops, and retail skate shops will all now have a mechanism to attract customers inside their online/offline stores.

Product Endorsement

Our promotional efforts are designed to create many destination trips to retail outlets. Additional efforts will feature promotions by Apolo Anton Ohno, Olympic gold-medalist, world champion short track speed skater and former U.S. national indoor inline skating champion and record holder, as well as other nationally prominent athletes. The endorsement of LandRoller skates by Apolo Anton Ohno has given Landrollers the kind of market acceptance and credibility that ordinarily takes years for a new company to create. Apolo has already endorsed LandRollers in many nationwide television venues including, Good Morning America, Fox and Friends, The Jimmy Kimmel Show, The Dr. Phil Show, CBS Extra and many others.

Sparking the Skates Revolution

LandRoller's marketing efforts to support its retailers are far more than just store-centric. As important as the retailer is, it is all about creating consumer awareness and demand, to start the skating revolution. And such revolutions start in the street, one person at a time, convert-by-convert.

Buzz / Product Placement

LandRoller maintains a third party public relations campaign to compliment our marketing efforts. While many PR campaigns fizzle, chiefly because the product is not newsworthy or simply boring, it is our goal to create and sustain LandRoller's charisma through various media outlets.

LandRoller has made tremendous progress since our first product placements in the Jackie Chan Film of Around the World in 80 Days and LandRoller's winning of the 2005 SPORTS EDGE Sports Product of the Year (SPOY) Award.

We continue to place LandRoller skates throughout the world of movies, television, magazines, newspapers and video. LandRoller skates have been featured on TV programs and print media worldwide including the Australian TV series, Beyond Tomorrow, Good Morning America, CBS Extra, The Dr. Phil Show and The National Geographic Channel’s hit TV show, The Dog Whisperer starring the renowned dog expert Cesar Millan. Cesar was seen by millions skating on LandRollers down Hollywood Blvd. in the annual Hollywood Christmas Parade. Cesar was also seen nation wide wearing LandRoller skates as he presented an Emmy at the 2006 Creative Arts Emmy Awards. The Dog Whisperer appears to love his LandRoller skates.
