Launching a Radical New Skate
LandRoller will launch an incredible new skate design that is sure to revolutionize and revitalize the skating industry. LandRoller’s radical design cranks up performance to take skaters to places – and surfaces – never before imaginable.
Sports Product of the Year Recognition
LandRoller was recently recognized as an outstanding sports product innovation and was selected as a semi-finalist for the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association 2005 Sports Product of the Year.
"We’re very pleased by the Sports Product of the Year endorsement, as it provides industry recognition for our efforts in design, development and testing over the past five years. During this time we’ve seen firsthand the excitement and anticipation for our skate – every time a skater steps into a pair they are amazed by the caliber of the skating experience," says Brian Conners, president of LandRoller. "This is the beginning of something big."
Get Up-close and Witness The Future in Skating
The unique patented design elements and clear performance benefits secured LandRoller as semi-finalist for the Sports Product of the Year Award. LandRollers have a patented, angled, out-of-line wheel configuration that dramatically improves the skating experience. Two large wheels roll over obstacles that hinder inline skates, and they’re angled to maintain the same low center of gravity as a traditional skate. This radical configuration improves stability, maneuverability, safety, ride smoothness and braking.
The Sport’s Product of the Year Award recognizes outstanding new product developments in the sporting goods industry. Thirty semi-finalists will be on display at the Super Show, where attendees can vote to select the finalists. Five finalists will be announced at the tradeshow, and a panel of industry professionals will select the Sport’s Product of the Year in late January. Stop by booth #22735N to see LandRoller, or attend one of the daily demos at 10:00am and 2:00pm in the skating demo area.
