Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why are LandRollers better than inlines?
A. LandRoller skates' patented "out-of-line" wheel configuration provides superior stability by angling the wheel/ground contact points so that they straddle the centerline of the boot. That stability makes it is easier for beginners to learn how to skate on LandRollers. At the same time, experienced skaters can do more on more surfaces. With only two large wheels, one can brake easier and generate more stopping force than with four or five-wheeled in-lines. It is also easier to control turns and one experiences a far smoother ride with better glide.

In addition, LandRollers are the only skates that offer true off-road capability (with our interchangeable air-filled tire option) combined with skate-like maneuverability. Wheel and bearing are replaced together, and replacement is far simpler than with in-lines. Wheel life is also longer with LandRollers.
