I'm not an experienced skater by any means. In fact, you could say that I had never skated before and only started skating to impress a girl I liked. I pored over skating sites trying to find the perfect skate. It was somewhat by accident that I stumbled across this site, and I was immediately intrigued by the LandRoller design. They're stylish and unique. I'm stylish and unique... and so my choice was made.
I picked the Apolo skates because, well, look at them. They're awesome. They look great, they feel great, and the quick release straps make putting them on and taking them off easy.
I was giddy as a schoolgirl when they arrived and on my first run with them it was like gliding on air. Well, two wheels made of air anyway. Unfortunately I neglected to research methods to halt my forward motion before I began. Fortunately I was able to improvise a stopping method involving a steep hill and a parked police car. Don't worry folks, the car and skates are fine.
It's been four months now. Jennifer is seeing someone else, but my LandRollers and I are inseperable. I should thank her for bringing us together.
