To contact a team player just "click" on his name. Mr. Lovitt founded the Company and is the co-inventor of LandRoller’s inclined wheel technology. He has been a successful inventor since 1971 when he developed a film management system for the motion picture editing room that became a standard for the industry. He holds several patents in diverse technologies which he has licensed to large international corporations such “Movie Lights” a lighted shoe technology that is licensed to Skechers Footwear; two ball point pen technologies licensed to Clegg Industries; “Magic Wand Books” a children’s book technology licensed to Americhip Inc.; and the “Space Case” a unique display technology licensed to Caseworks International. He has also developed products for the Windmere Corporation, Mattel Inc., Playmates Toys, Senator Pens, Timex and LA Gear. |

Prior to joining LandRoller, Mr. Conners was President of Unocal Pipeline Company (a wholly owned subsidiary of Unocal Corporation). Mr. Conners had complete profit and loss responsibility for all aspects of the business, which had revenues of $100 million, pre-tax earnings of $80 million, and a 22% Return on Capital Employed. He led 8 direct reports and 135 employees in the management of a portfolio of 30 pipeline and transportation related businesses, including partnerships, stock corporations, limited liability companies, undivided interests, and wholly-owned subsidiaries. Mr. Conners’ areas of expertise include finance, operations, strategic planning, engineering & construction management, and international business development. He is a skilled negotiator with extensive experience structuring deals and a track record of growing businesses through acquisition, joint venture and strategic alliance. He has twice received a Chairman’s Award from the Unocal Chairman and CEO for outstanding performance. He has helped start-up several companies, including an international pipeline company with a current market value of over $5 billion. Mr. Conners has also served as a Director for several companies with annual sales in the billion dollar range. |
Lance Stuart Chief Operating Officer Mr. Stuart was most recently a General Partner of Zitan Partners, a business focused on bringing innovative products and technologies from Asia to market in the U.S. and abroad. Earlier, he was (for 5 years) the Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of WorkWell Systems, a venture-backed company that is a leader in work-injury prevention and return-to-work. Prior to WorkWell, he served as Co-President and Co-Chief Operating Officer of Covenant Care, a start-up that grew to more than 5,000 employees and $170 million in revenues during its first thirty (30) months of operation. Mr. Stuart also co-founded Bó Lè Associates (headquartered in Hong Kong), a leading executive recruiting firm with twelve (12) offices across Asia. In addition, he founded SATT (headquartered in Tokyo, Japan), which he led to become Asia's largest educational software company. Mr. Stuart began his career as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, Inc. where, for 7 years, he served clients around the world while based in New York and Tokyo. |
| Steven Rubin Vice President, Sales Mr. Rubin is an experience sales VP, who has specialized in apparel and footwear. As part of the start-up team at Global Sports Inc. (now GSI Commerce), he acquired and developed the company’s core sportswear accounts. He served as VP of Licensing for Skechers, where he generated royalty guarantees of $7 million. He was also the Managing Director/VP of the L.A. Gear apparel division, which he grew from $2 million to over $50 million in two years. As head of sales at Metrokant, he introduced the “rabbit’ to the wine accessories market and grew sales to over $15 million per year. Mr. Rubin earned a B.A. in Political Science from George Washington University where he attended on a full scholarship as a member of the golf team. |

Mr. Shellstrom has over 25 year experience creating many successful campaigns at the world’s top advertising agencies. He was hired to be one of the youngest Senior Art Directors at Needham Harper & Steers, creating an award winning campaign for Bud Light. BBDO brought him to New York to be a lead creative on Pepsi. America’s largest Agency, Young & Rubicam, hired him as a Vice President, Creative, heading their top accounts: Colgate, Holiday Inn, AT&T, New York Telephone, U.S. Postal Service, General Foods, STP, Xerox, Kodak, Warner Lambert and more. Since then he has consulted with Deutsch, McCann, Ogilvy & Mather, Margeotes, Y&R, Grey Dusseldorf and J. Walter Thompson Mexico City amongst others. His many projects have included the creation and design of Latin America’s #1 make-up brand to Nike’s first watch. Mr. Shellstrom earned his BFA in Visual Communications from Northern Illinois University. He was captain of his school’s gymnastic team and participated on track, basketball and swim teams. Living on the beach in Venice CA, he is an avid skater, diver, skier and plays paddle tennis and beach volleyball. |

Born in Holland, Mr. Van der Palen is a graduate of the apprentice program of Mercedes Benz in Stuttgart, Germany and the Industrial Design School at Art Center college of design in Pasadena, Ca. He was brought to America in order to work for the noted futurist, Sid Mead, assisting on many of his projects, including production designs for the landmark film, Blade Runner. Mr. Van der Palen has since accumulated over twenty years of industrial design experience in diverse industries. His clients ranged from individual inventors to Hilton Hotels, and Princess Cruise Line. He has worked with notable architectural firms. Prior to joining the LandRoller management team, Mr. Van der Palen was part of a select design team at the Disney Corporation expanding the Tokyo and Orlando Disneyland facilities. Mr. Van der Palen is a recognized world-class craftsman, a life long skater, and a restorer of classic California architecture. |

Mr. Winslow co-invented the LandRoller inclined wheel skate with Mr. Bert Lovitt. He is a graduate in Industrial Design from the Art Center college of Design in Pasadena, CA. He won honors in their transportation design program and has worked on diverse projects, which include the carriage design for GM's Fiero, the interior design for the Chrysler Jeep Eagle, and the exterior styling for the Jeep Grand Cherokee. An award winning restorer of classic antique automobiles, Winslow manages his own business designing and building custom prototypes. Mr. Winslow is a highly skilled skater, skier, and off-road cyclist. |

Mr. Dean is serving LandRoller in a variety of capacities during its start-up phase. He is active in various entrepreneurial ventures and Tech Coast Angels, Southern California’s largest angel investment group, along with various real estate investment, development, and turnaround opportunities. Mr. Dean has worked extensively in affordable housing and assisted living, developing and acquiring about 5,000 units over the last decade. He received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Mr. Dean has served as Managing Director of the Harvard Business School Association of Orange County (on whose Board he still sits) and Chairman of the Entrepreneur’s Conference, HBS’ biggest alumni club event. He is an avid tennis and basketball player. |
